A career coaching company
We are a Washington D.C. based career strategy and coaching company with clients across the globe from the U.K and Switzerland to China and India, as well as of course, the United States. We work closely with universities, helping undergraduate and graduate students in their career journey. Our career planning, job application help, interview prep, and other services help our clients and students land some pretty great jobs. This is their success, not ours; we are just glad to have been a part of this journey.
In our 2015-2016 school year we coached close to 900+ MBA, Masters, and undergraduate students, in addition to our regular young professionals and career switchers, conducting a total of 1,272 career coaching and job search appointments.
We understand the business. And we recognize the 'high-touch', targeted prep that is needed for success. An investment banking resume is very different to a strategy consulting resume. The interview process for a corporate sales job is very different to the interview process to join the U.S. State Department's Foreign Service. We prepare candidates to the highest possible standards to get the top 1% of jobs across as many industries as possible.
We cover accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, sales and trading, private equity/VC, commercial banking, investment management, asset management, strategy consulting, tech consulting, technology sales, product management, software engineering, general management, sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, research and policy, and international development.
We’re best known for our combination of left brain analysis and right brain intuition. The #Monday! campaign is a good example; it's meant to inspire and entertain you on Monday morning, but also give you pragmatic hands-on tools to ace your job search or takes steps to progress in your current career. This newsletter now has over 4000+ subscribers, many are Careerly alums who've gone on to great careers but love to stay in touch and spread the word to their friends.
We created a YouTube channel that now has over 2.2 million views and close to 14,000 subscribers. We are published in Fast Company, Business Insider, and the Wharton Blog Network. We live-stream career webinars every other Monday to a global audience.
The Careerly difference is that we have industry experience -> this is what we draw on to coach our clients. Our small group of coaches are directly from industry. We have had previous careers in finance, banking, consulting, marketing, sales, operations, supply chain, international development, and non-profit. Coaching, counseling, and mentoring others is a passion and natural talent, if you will, that sits as a layer on top of the valuable industry experience we put to use on behalf of our clients.
We are skilled at working with a pretty diverse cross-section of clients, from undergraduates to graduates of the world's top schools (in particular MBAs) to mid-career professionals seeking a significant career change. We have successfully helped clients in a wide range of industry verticals and functional roles. But really, we exist to help you understand your own ambition, and match your natural gifts, talents, and skills to what the world needs and what the market will pay for. We want a more rewarding and fulfilling career experience for everyone.
